We are hiring a Sourcing Specialist within our Human Resources department. 

  • Utilize sourcing techniques to attract the highest quality of candidates and build a consistent candidate pool.
  • Pre-screen resumes and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn and other recruiting channels.
  • Follow established staffing processes consistently.

Responsibilities in your area will include:

  • Execute creative recruiting methods to source the most qualified candidates, including cold calls to passive candidates to generate interest in the opportunity.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with recruiters and interface with all levels of management in order to meet requirement needs.
  • Assess the degree to which candidates meet the necessary requirements for each position through a visual review of the resume or social media profile.
  • Prioritize workload and work with a sense of urgency to manage competing priorities.
  • Solicit feedback from recruiters regarding the candidate quality and modify sourcing methods accordingly.
  • Create candidate profiles and follow documentation standards in our applicant tracking system, Taleo.
  • Follow all staffing processes to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law.
  • Work onsite at the required Credit Acceptance work location.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months recent professional experience in HR, Recruiting, Marketing or Business Development OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proficient in consistently utilizing LinkedIn with a strong updated social media presence.
  • Experience participating in professional networking environments.
  • Experience dealing effectively with pressure, remaining optimistic and persistent, even under adversity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred:

  • Professional recruiting or sourcing experience.
  • Experience with Taleo or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience utilizing Boolean search techniques.

  • Tailor communication style to effectively influence individuals with diverse backgrounds and mindset.
  • Comfort in shifting responsibilities to support the greater team goals.
  • Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed, assertive, and convey an approachable style.
  • Process driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Able to remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines.
