We are hiring an Instructional Designer within our Training and Development Department.   

Responsibilities in your area will include:

  • Design and develop events and tools including but not limited to instructor guides, slides and participant workbooks for instructor-led courses, storyboards for web-based courses, job aids, video scripts, promotional copy, and training evaluation instruments

Who Are We Looking for?

Our ideal candidate for this role needs to:

  • Applies ADDIE model
  • Validate understanding of performance objectives for training via shadowing, interviewing SMEs, and reviewing current documentation or reporting
  • Provide clear expectations to sponsors, SMEs and other stakeholders; including start-of-work (‘project kick-off’) sessions, material review meetings, working sessions and project status updates
  • Manage project expectations and schedule through creation of design document and project deliverable tracking files
  • Produce training deliverables aligned with performance objectives and customer expectations
  • Make design and content changes to existing deliverables based on best practices and industry standards to improve training effectiveness
  • Shadow business units on a regular basis via observation, interview, and/or other methods, gather information about the performance support and/or training need
  • Create and maintain file structure throughout the project
  • Facilitate file submissions to the Document Management Process including required revisions

Job Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ experience with content design and development
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SnagIt or comparable programs
  • Proven success serving multiple clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience designing job specific training
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written formats
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design or related fields
  • Work onsite at the required Credit Acceptance work location
  • Able to meet the attendance requirements as stated by leader

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing self-paced on line training solutions, not limited to systems training.
  • Experience creating effective evaluation models
  • Experience with Audacity, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, UPerform or comparable programs
  • Master’s Degree

Required degrees must have been earned at institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
